Thanks to the likes of Brando and other companies, USB microscopes are plentiful and easy to find these days. But being tethered to your PC with a USB cable limits where they can go. Not this wireless model though, the only limit of where you can use it is your imagination… and possibly good taste.

It uses a 2.4GHz wireless signal with a switch on the cradle/wireless receiver for choosing one of 4 channels, and the optics are able to magnify whatever it is you’re looking at from 10-200x. It’s also got a ring of 8 white LEDs around the ‘lens’ for added illumination, a built-in Li-ion battery that charges when placed in the cradle, and is available from ThinkGeek for $139.99.

  1. wow where do you work? I don't know if I'd spend that much on my boss, I barely spend that on parents. Around $100-$150 depending on what they want. But everyone else gets around $50. Work around $20, if I like them…lol

  2. I work at a hip hop record company. My boss likes to inspect the diamonds in his big gangster dog chain with the giant letter hanging off of it. I didn't even come close to pulling that off, did I?

Actually I was thinking as kind of a group gift. I'd take up a collection and then end up paying most of it myself because I'm a doormat.

  3. As we say in the mountains, have at it! Unfortunately I think I did pull that one off. Actually, I see your tactic. Get me replying to other posts and wear me down. I wasn't born…..what day is today?

  4. Darn you have discovered my plot, and what does the mountains have anything to do with doing anything?? I mean all they are really good for is climbing up slowly and getting down fast… Especially if you fall off the cliff that you fail to see as you run across the peak with joy.. It's never the fall…..

  5. maybe all mcman was trying to tell us is that he is an overpaid high ranking ceo of some company and that he secretly wishes for us to find out his identity and steal all of his money.. Then again I could be reading more into it that intended and it's actually like he says and is aiming for a group present..
