Boxers get cash, but sumo wrestlers get an even better prize (subjectively speaking, that is): a giant macaron. At least, that’s what the second placer was awarded at the recent Sumo Senshuraku tournament in Japan. The giant green dessert was prepared by renowned French pastry chef Pierre Hermé, which made sense since the match was part of the France-Japan Friendship Cup.
Now that’s delectable to ginormous proportions!
