Roll-n-Go-Transporter

Because it seems like a terrible idea, that’s why. The BRICA Roll ‘n Go Car Seat Transporter is a contraption that lets you take your standard car seat and turn it into… well, something that looks like a piece of carry on luggage. That way you can transport your infant through the airport (or the mall, or anywhere we suppose) with relative ease. Because strollers are hard, you know. A telescoping handle, rollerblading wheels and a simple fold-away design make this product appear like a good idea, until you realize that you’re going to be trailing your child behind you, out of view. Not to be overly cautious or paranoid, but it seems to us like a most basic requirement of child transportation to at least have him within your field of view. Granted he’s strapped in so he can’t just fall out… but something about it just feels strange. If you don’t share our hesitations, you can own the BRICA Roll ‘n Go Car Seat Transporter for $70.

  1. Thank you! Everyone is raving about how wonderful these are, and I just don’t get it. In addition to everything you’ve mentioned, I certainly hope they don’t tip as easily as every piece of luggage I’ve ever dragged over bumps. Just what everyone needs…their stroller/luggage flipping over so they’re dragging their kid across pavement on its face.
