Twice in the same day with Whirlpool? What’s going on? Anyway…
It’s a commonly accepted notion that stinky people suck. When that’s coupled with wrinkly clothes, chances are you’re dealing with a bum of sorts, or a weekend ruffian. Either way, you don’t want to be on the receiving end of such harsh pronouncements, do you?
Well, Whirlpool’s got you covered with this interesting device, called the Fabric Freshener. Based on the concept that actually washing your clothes might give you the volcanic hives, instead you’re invited to place your toxic fabrics inside this special enclosure for half an hour. During that time, they will be submitted to a steam treatment. This will allegedly remove odors and smooth out wrinkles.
Doesn’t say anything about removing stains, so maybe that’s the catch. In any case, for $250, it better also walk the dog and babysit the kids.

Have one, haven’t been to the laundry mat in almost two months. Maybe you should try the product before you talk about it.
I am a single Dad with two girls. Saw this and had to have it. Finally I would send my kids to school clean AND pressed. Arrived VIA UPS and I ran a load of Laundry. PFFFT! Nothing plugged this thing in and immediately received an error light the thermostat was not working. Called the Whirlpool hotline THEY LISTED in the owners manual and the very nice person (after 20 mins on hold while they checked) had not even heard of it. I knew more than they did. Now I have to bring this thing back and do the refund hassle. My take? Two thumbs down! Don’t bother
I own one and I love it. It cuts down on my dry cleaning bill. Good for removing smells and wrinkles. A lot of times I use it to get rid of smoke from my clothes after hangin out in bars.
