  101. My daughter has an old Win 95 laptop that she is really beginning to use well (she is 10) and I have been hoping to get her an upgrade so she can do more with it. The economics of this year mean that this won't be happening anytime soon though. It would be a great for her to see this under the tree.

  182. I really need this laptop. I have been looking for laptops for the past year or so on craigslist in the $200 to $300 range but I have unfortunately not been able to afford one and I don’t think I will be able to any time soon. I have 2 kids (1 being a baby) and my wife doesn’t work, so we are just barely making it by. The current laptop I have is a Pentium 100 (seriously) and I just need something with a decent processor so I can work on my music on the go when I get a few minutes at work, or in the living room while I am watching the kids. If you choose me, I guarantee I will appreciate this laptop more than anyone else could.

  412. I like free things! Especially free things that work… unlike this library computer. 10 year old for public-use gateways do not work. I had to load this page three times. I wish library computers could fit into blenders, because then they would be much more useful.

  481. Cool, another contest and the prize is one of the netbooks that I'm thinking of getting. An early Christmas present in the offing ? Who knows. One can hope.
