This is a short commercial for this outfit called Dodds Furniture And Mattress in Victoria, BC. The geek angle? It’s got a Star Trek theme. The better geek angle? It’s the most atrocious thing we’ve ever seen.

Being from Victoria, I can tell you that Dodd’s does this on purpose and the local community loves their cheesy ads. They’ve been in business for many years and are active in the community with charity events particularly focused around the homeless. Still terrible ads, but it is what their market expects from them :^).
