Brando, maker of USB accessories and fodder for gadget blogs worldwide, has developed a $15 USB light that glows with a brightness proportional, in five levels, to how fast you type. According to the website, it’s good for “general stress relief.” I’m honestly not sure how it doesn’t have the opposite effect, especially if you suffer from nyctophobia, in which case it might be an excellent motivational tool in terms of after dinner productivity. I would rather that Brando adapted this technology into some sort of positive reinforcement USB accessory, say, something that dispenses Skittles and Mountain Dew every time you finish a blog post.
