Shoes are among the bulkiest of objects travelers have to contend with when they’re packing. What can eliminate the problem entirely, though, is Horatio Yuxin Han’s experimental project called Unifold. It’s essentially leather with a die-cut pattern that can be folded into an actual shoe. It doesn’t take much skill to fold the shoe into form, as the shape of the starting material makes it easy to do.

Of course, you’ll need some adhesive to make sure the folded-up portions stay attached, but that’s about it. Hit the break for a couple more shots showing how easy it is to fold your own shoe with Unifold.
