  2. CRAPP! PUCHASED TODAY, RETURNING TOMORROW. I CAN ONLY RECEIVE TWO HALFWAY VISIBLE STATIONS. ITS ONLY A GREAT PRICE, $99 IF YOU NEED A MONITOR. TOTAL CRAP IF YOU WANT TO WATCH TV. THE INSTRUCTION BOOK WAS IN SPANISH ONLY. I CANT READ SPANISH.

  3. Trinity 7″ Widescreen LCD Portable Television with USB Input – Silver Model: CT-V710 purchased last week at Best Buy as a gift and took back today. Instruction book is TOTALLY useless as is the t.v. Reception on cable stinks, and the picture quality even with DVD…also stinkerooo! (Went and got an Audiovox 7.8″ dvd/tv combo at Circuit City instead and it is a gem with great cable reception and awesome picture quality.) Recommendation….I wouldn’t buy the Trinity t.v. if I were you!

  4. Poor picture even with cable. Battery connection very touchy. Cable channel don’t match correct channels. Remote only could select single digits. I took it back the next day! Don’t buy.

  5. I had recieved this TV for X-mas,and you know someting,it sucks! It has poor picture quality and even after I used the auto search for reception I only got one channel compared to six channels with my 2.5 in RCA tv. Don’t buy it. Thats why I took it back to best buy.

  6. Mine works great so far. I am able to pick up quite a few channels in my area. I love the big screen. The problem I see with this unit is the manual. It is very brief and anyone who is not used to playing with gadgets will have a hard time figuring out how to make it work properly.

  7. I bought one for my husband for Christmas. It is terrible. We are returning, getting a decent one. Don’t waste your money or time buying this product! Instructions are worthless too.

  8. I got one for Christmas too. I didn’t have trouble reading the directions, but I still didn’t think it worked very well. Then my husband, whose an electronics geek and the one who bought it for me in the first place, fiddled with it, and not it works great! We even get some canadian channels and we live more than 175 miles from Canada!

  9. TV has poor reception, channels do not match FCC or local cable assigned channels, channel auto search function does not work, can’t access channels above 16 on cable or over the air. Picture is washed out and will not adjust. Documentation, owner’s manual is very poorly written with little useful information. The manufacturer, representative or customer service can not be contacted with the phone number or email address provided in the owner’s manual and a Google search provides no alternative contact information for the product. This is definitely a product that has been dumped in the US market with little or no recourse for the consumer. DO NOT BUY PRODUCT!

  12. I am mixed about this product. As many of the reviews on here, this is a TERRIBLE product, IF YOU ARE USING THE ANTTENAE!! It would not find any of the lower channels (2-7), but it would find the higher ones (13 and on). Even then we would only find 5-8 of them. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE USING THE CABLE, THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT!!! It found EVERY channel. It comes with a cable adapter, and it’s just like watching TV. I know most of you would use this for the antennae for its portability, so I’m still writing this comment as a bad product, but if you have cable, it’s great. This product is just for my mom who wants to watch TV while she’s getting ready for her day, and doesn’t want a big 13+” TV in her bathroom. We’ll put a spliter in off the cable in the room, so she can watch the portable TV and have the big tv in her bedroom. So this is perfect for her. Another thing, CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!! The 888 number is not working, the company’s in France and Honk Kong, and the French number doesn’t work. There’s no other way to contact them, so this is a risky move, but IF YOU ARE USING THIS PRODUCT WITH CABLE AND NOT THE ANTENNAE, THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT!!! Hope I’m clear enough.

  13. Most of the reviews are correct. If you don’t use it on cable connection–it’s terrible. Out of the box, the picture/color was terrible and it took a lot of tweaking with the color controls to finally get a good display. Very time consuming to get all the channels in the proper channel order. Auto channel programing does not match cable channel #’s–must be done manually. Manufacture needs to hire better tech writers. Manual is terrible. There are better small size (8″) TVs on the market that program like large TV’s, but I have mine working ok–so I’ll stick with it for now.

  18. If this thing is still available, do not buy. I repeat. Do not buy. This is the junkiest thing I have ever purchased. The picture quality is worse than terrible, it is useless. Despite all the adjustments you can make, you can never get it adjusted so you can actually see the picture. The jack for the power is touchy. Half the time I cannot even turn the TV on. It tips over all the time. Absolute Junk.
