If a pile of weekly robot awesomeness isn’t enough incentive for you to read BotJunkie, how about some free stuff? This week we’re giving away a weRobot t-shirt (it’s awesome, see for yourself), and all you have to do is head on over to this post and leave a comment with a valid email address by Friday night.

While you’re there, though, you should check out some of the stuff we’ve been covering… This week, we were surprised to learn that Belgium and seven other countries use more robots than the US does, watched a couple of Kuka robotic arms spinning some beats, lusted over a pinup calendar of military robots, watched a competition for urban search and rescue robots, realized (for the second time) that two people pretending to be BigDog is pretty damn silly, were astounded to see that RCA predicted the Roomba back in 1959, wondered what the future holds for the now completed and flight ready Northrop Grumman X47-B unmanned combat air vehicle, and were vaguely disturbed to watch a swarm of little autonomous robots work together to carry off a little girl.

Oh, and if you didn’t stop by last week either, shame on you, and you should totally look at our posts about a freaky missile kill vehicle, a robotic serving table, a dexterous robot chef, a nifty little drumbot, and a championship exclusively for stupid robots.
