Why boil your water yourself, when your tap can do it for you? At least, that’s what the good folks at Quooker want to have you pondering.
They sell this fine device for the kitchen that functions like a normal tap when you want it to. However, a push and a turn will give you access to the water stored in a tank at a tongue blistering 100degrees Celsius. The “push and turn” business is supposed to make it childproof, hopefully keeping little Johnny away from the burn unit.
At writing time, their website was a little constipated, so I’ve no idea of price, or… well, any other detail for that matter. Here’s the link again, in case it works and you want to give it a visit.

This is so cool. I really need this boiling water tap. I'm always late at school because I use a lot of time in boiling the water which I need to take a bath. Because its freaking cold in here every morning. With this tap,I can have a warm water with no effort..
I have one only it doesn't work ….. apparently its broken due to scale erosion. to fix it will cost another £175, so i'm wondering if i'm better off with a kettle. that said, if you saw the scale you'd have a filter fitted to your mains. the cost of living in the UK i guess … but would be nice if the Dutch thought about our water before introducing such a lovely looking tap
