mp3 player oregon scientificBy David Ponce

I’m quite certain that the main issue facing MP3 player designers is just what combination of features to cram into the latest model. Of course, it always makes sense to include something that supports your product’s intended marketing position. So, for instance, if you’re making a sportsy mp3 player, it makes perfect sense to include a pedometer, right?

Well, that’s exactly what Oregon Scientific‘s done with the MP121. So, aside from having enough memory to store around 30 hours of music (1GB), and including an FM tuner… you’re now able to find out just how effective your morning jog was. Oh, and while they were at it, they decided to waterproof the device, so you can go for for a swim with it. It even comes with the waterproof headphones.

For $190, it’s a decent deal. I’m not loving the orange, but no one asked for my opinion.
