If you’re “lucky” enough to live in Hungary, Turkey or the UK, then know that you might have found some help with your asocial tendencies, in the form of the Love Detector, from Nemesysco Entertainment. It’s a service that requires a cellphone, and uses voice analysis to determine if the person you’re speaking to has a thing for you.

How does it work? First you dial the service’s number, and then you call your friend. The Love Detector then listens to your conversation, and then

the server will monitor the excitement levels and other related parameters your friend is demonstrating, and will calculate the “Love-Level” as detected in the conversation. Once the conversation has ended, the final report will be sent to your cellular phone using SMS or audio message! The final report is not only about the “Love-Level”, and includes other parameters, like “Concentration”, “Embarrassment” and even “Anticipation”.

Since it uses cellular service, I’m guessing that pricing is to be determined by the cellular provider, and could become just another service, alongside ringtone downloads and chat. The results of the analysis are sent to you via SMS.
