Did you know that you have trees growing inside your walls, right now? I’ll bet you didn’t. Thankfully, Adam Frank is providing us with super secret x-ray (or something) technology that allows us to see those hidden trees! …I’m not fooling anyone, am I? Sigh. Still, this is a pretty nifty idea, a small projector that allows you to place a virtual window wherever you have blank wall space. The shadow trees even move about lazily in the breeze. If only you could go outside and enjoy them. There’s no pricing information yet, but my guess is that if you can afford one of these, you can probably afford to live somewhere with actual windows and actual trees.

Adam Frank also does installation (i.e. big) artwork. For more on that, keep reading.

One of his more recent pieces, entitled Shadow, makes use of projectors to create a disembodied shadow on the ground. Like something straight out of a horror movie, the shadow will actually chase you around and try to take over your own shadow, whereupon I assume you’re teleported into the shadow realm while the evil shadow being takes over your body. [That’s a whole lot of shador, Evan. -Ed.]

  1. The projector with the tress would work for me. I’ve spent 15 years working in server rooms and other ares with no windows. Give me some sunshine or sim it!

My idea is to take web cams on the roof and ouput them to plasmas in the server rooms…

  2. This is the first time I commented here and I must say you share genuine and quality information. I think people who share unwanted information or fake information on the net can learn some tips from you.Generic Viagra
