Pyramat is already known for their selection of comfortable rocker chairs, designed with built-in speakers and sub-woofers for the console gaming crowd. But this wireless PC gaming chair is their first offering aimed specifically at computer gamers who prefer to sit at a desk behind a monitor, rather than on the floor in front of a TV.
The chair wirelessy connects to your PC using an 8-channel 2.4 GHz digital transmitter, and will run for about 4 to 5 hours on its built-in rechargeable battery. It manages to push out “amazing sound” using two full-range speakers on the headrest, and a 4 inch subwoofer that also serves to provide some physical feedback. As for the chair itself, it includes a raised headrest, gas piston height adjustment and a tilting seat.
At $289.95 from The Sharper Image it’s far from being the most expensive office chair on the market, but on the other hand I have enough things around my desk that already need to be recharged. The last thing I want to do is plug in my office chair every night.
