Astronaut Light

By Evan Ackerman

What can I say, I’ve always wanted to be an astronaut, and maybe if my parents had had the foresight to equip my room with one of these, I’d be up there right now drinking bubbles of water out of the air, instead of down here, wishing for a new lamp. The Space Explorer lamp isn’t cheap at $185, but you’ve got to appreciate the amount of detail that’s there, what with the floating astronauts and the thruster lights. It’s really too bad that neither of the astronauts has a MMU, which will make it somewhat difficult for them to get back into their ship. Better not tell your kids that, though.
