Onkyo, a Japanese company with a good reputation (in Asia, anyway) for high end audio equipment, has just released a couple of keyboards designed to match their HDC-10 multimedia (specifically audio) PC. They’re offering a wired USB model, as well as a wireless model with a mouse and USB dongle, all in a lovely brushed aluminum. Not aluminum finish-on-plastic, but actual honest to goodness element 13. I imagine that a metal keyboard would be immensely satisfying to type on, not to mention sexy sexy sexy. And you can hit people with it.
The Onkyo Wavio metal keyboards look to be available in brushed silver or black aluminum. Sadly, no information yet on price or availability.
Sadly, it appears that it’s just the perimeter of the keyboard that’s aluminum. The keys are just plain ol’ plastic.
