I would be doing a great disservice to the force if I didn’t balance out my earlier posting of the Darth Vader Nutcracker with this Yoda version representing the good or ‘less-fun’ side of the force.
Master Yoda is also made by the Steinbach company of Germany and comes crafted from select European hardwoods and is hand painted to accurately depict the Jedi master’s unique characteristics. He stands 9 1/2 inches tall and comes equipped with his walking cane and traditional, drab Jedi robe. You know it’s nice to see the Lucasfilm marketing division finally lightening up when it comes to licensing Star Wars-themed products. Oh wait…
Yoda’s currently available from Hammacher Schlemmer for $249.95 so you probably need to be both a serious Star Wars and Christmas fan to add one of these to your collection. (Especially since it’s for display purposes only so Christmas, Star Wars AND shelled-nut fans will need to keep looking.)
That is one UGLY nutcracker. Good idea, though.
