Motorola didn’t scrimp on their latest print ad which will run in Wired’s January 2014 issue. The ad for the Moto X is found right in the middle of the magazine and showcases the customization options that the phone offers. How? By allowing the reader to “change” the color of the phone’s rear by tapping the color options at the bottom of the page. This probably isn’t Motorola’s main selling point for the phone, but it does make for a neat interactive ad.

Everything was made possible with some plexiglass, LED lights, four embedded batteries, and the color selection buttons. The ad will appear in 150,000 copies of Wired in New York and Chicago.
