There’s a huge retro-gaming market for people my age, born in the early 80’s who spent their childhood playing NES and SNES games. Nintendo is clearly aware of this, so they’re about to capitalize on that by releasing the NES Classic Edition. It’s a palm-sized version of the old console which comes preloaded with 30 games, which means no fussing around with large cartridges that you had to blow into constantly just to get them to play! You just have to plug the machine into your TV’s HDMI port and play away. The game roster includes classics like all three Marios, Punch-Out, both Zeldas and Metroid. It’s going to cost all of $60 and comes in time for the Holidays with a release date of November 11.
