I’m no doctor (I don’t even play one on TV), so I can’t tell you why you tend to wake up in the morning in sheets that are damp from your own perspiration. That’s something that you should probably have checked out. However, if you’re simply wanting something that will let you know when you are too hot at night, then look no further than the Sweat Alarm.
ThisĀ seemingly useless device goes around your wrist or ankle and informs you (by way of vibrations and a loud alarm) that you’re getting sweaty. You can then toss off a couple of blankets or turn on the air so that you can attempt to get back to sleep. I really don’t see what the point of this device is, so unless your doctor tells you to get one, save your $139.

A friend of mine uses one to let her know when she is having a diabetic reaction when shes sleeping.
Yes, I also use the device to detect symptoms of hypoglycemia during sleep!
wow, you may want to read more before making a post like this.
People with Type 1 diabetics sweat at night if their sugar gets low. This is before they could co into coma due to low sugar. This is not a joke and a devise like this is very useful for them.
this is why the post says “unless your doctor tells you to get one”, don't give the author a hard time.
WTF.
It's all I can say.
If my blood sugars go low during the night, which is rarely because I actually take care of my blood sugars, I wake up naturally and do something about it :I
Lee you are an asshole who obviously doesn't know crap about his disease and how it progresses, good luck with that in the future!

Before commenting on how useless the device is, at least have the intelligence to Google what medical conditions the watch may be used for. As a Diabetic for 25 years, if I required such a device (if it works), then this could be a life saver for many Diabetic's who suffer from nightime hypo's.
Your lack of knowledge will obviously view the watch as useless… just as a car is useless to somone who cannot drive!!
