ThinkGeek has released a bevy of new products today. My favorite of the bunch has to be this Tauntaun sleeping bag, complete with lightsaber zipper pull and toasty warm faux-intestine liner. It’s not as warm as sleeping inside a real freshly dead animal, but I bet it smells a heck of a lot better. You can get this for about $40, but you’ll have to wait for it to be shipped in from the ThinkGeek wearhouse on Hoth. A couple more new products, after the jump.

  1. I actually thought it said “tantrum” sleeping bag which I consider a great idea for those little tikes that throw regular fits.

Just throw em in, zip it up and let em freak out. Guaranteed to tire them into a sound sleep after only an hour of kicking and screaming.

By the way Hairy, if you wanted something to be believable would you have everyone do their own joke or have one or two jokes circulate around the interweb? Besides, this site is just doing what it does every day, pulling gizmo news from other sources.

  2. I know. I have no problem with that. I'm just disappointed that I won't get to curly up inside a tauntaun :(. My response was intended to be tongue-in-cheek.

  3. I'm hoping that ThinkGeek ends up selling the Tauntaun sleeping bag sometime in the future. I recall them finally selling their 1up Mushrooms, which were a previous April Fool's gag.
