iPhone 4 Handbag Case (Images courtesy designboom)

I understand Summer’s appeal, what with its long days, warm temperatures and endless reason to get out and enjoy the sun. But at the same time, every year when the temperature rises and I have to hang my coat up, I feel like I’m being robbed of valuable pocket real estate. And I imagine if I were the type to wear particularly short shorts in the Summer, instead of jeans, I’d feel like I had no where to put anything. So maybe that’s what Jin-Woog Koo of the Korean-based Nothing Design Group set out to solve when he created this minimal iPhone-friendly i-Handbag.

It sits somewhere between a purse and a case, probably closer to the latter, and in addition to holding an iPhone it also provides full access to the device’s touchscreen, headphone port and hardware buttons. It’s also got enough room to store other necessities like a photo ID and credit or debit cards. And probably a bit of cash if you’re still into that sort of thing. No word on when it will be available or where you can buy it though.
