Generally, a little magnetic USB hub seems like a good idea. It’s got magnets. You can stick it places. Like, to your forehead if you have a metal plate in your skull. It’s also got two vertical and two horizontal ports, so you can leave peripherals permanently plugged in but have space left over for transient electronics like USB flash drives (aka the best thing since floppy disks). I have to wonder, though, whether sticking magnets in close proximity to your precious, precious hard disk drives is really the smartest thing to do… But what am I, a magnetologist?
