Unless you’re truly familiar with the terrain, riding out into the sunset on horseback probably isn’t the safest thing in the world. That doesn’t mean your dreams of doing something that actors do all the time in movies is over. Rather, you just need to get some safety equipment to make that ride a safer one.
Cue the Tail Lights, which are literal tail lights that are meant to be fastened onto the horse’s tail.
They add visibility, a bit of flair, and a whole lot of pizzazz to the horse’s look. Their main purpose, though, is to keep the horse and rider visible when they’re out and about–not just at night, but in various types of weather and lighting conditions.
The system comprises of a battery pack/CPU that is small enough to fit into any saddle bag. A thin cable connects the battery to the light assembly which comprises of 6 LED double sided strands that drape at various lengths down a horses tail. This assembly is held onto the tail by a specialized neoprene tail wrap designed to safely secure the light box in place while maximizing the natural motion of a horses tail.
