3D Monopoly

Monopoly has been around for decades and it’s one of the most played and well-loved games for family game nights. When you played it as a kid, I bet you didn’t really consider the more serious implications of what the game stood for. Could this game have shaped the minds and motivations of countless tycoons throughout the world? We’ll never know.

But the game itself is all about fun and absolute control of the properties on the board, and that much stays the same in the new limited edition version of the game: Monopoly 3D. Board Walk is still one of the most coveted properties, and people will still be on a race to acquire all the utilities and rail roads. What’s obviously different in this edition are the game board and tokens, as they have been done up in three striking dimensions.

Only 2,000 pieces of Monopoly 3D edition have been made, with each set being signed and numbered by artist Charles Fazzino, who designed the elements on the board that depict NYC. This includes six pewter game pieces, play money, title deeds, chance and community chest cards, wood houses, hotels, and the banker’s tray aside from the 3D artwork with embedded crystals and foil accents on the board. It’s an impressive set that carries an even more impressive price tag: $500.
