Last week on BotJunkie began with some robot change we can believe in, followed by an excellent TED talk by P.W. Singer about robots and the future of war, then we moved on to a robotic that makes original scientific discoveries, pondered whose face we’d want on a MechRC with a custom 3D head, kinda wished that the creepiest robot ever hadn’t made it to age 2, were impressed by a home made hexapod robot that looks like an ant (complete with big scary jaws), watched a video of a fuel cell powered UAV that can stay aloft for 24 hours, saw some really neat footage of Stanford’s SpinyBot climbing with clawed feet, put all our faith in the God-Jesus robot which can supposedly tell you the future, ditched our primitive Roombas for a vacuum that you can control with live video on your cell phone, and ditched our primitive legs for a cyborg lower half.

This week, we’ve already lined up a firefighting robot named Puff, an exoskeleton that will increase your strength by a factor of 10 that you can buy for $4200, and some adorable little robots relying on the kindness of strangers.

Oh, and don’t forget to have a look at last Friday’s Bot with Stuff, after the jump.
