You know, I love Akihabara News as much as the next guy… but would it kill them to give us more than a picture and five crumbs of factual information on pretty much any product they discuss?
For instance, I’m digging this new unit from JVC, the KV-DV50. Why? Well, I can tell you that it’s a new car entertainment system, with the notable feature of being able to handle DivX. It’s great stuff really, to be able to enjoy your compressed digital bounty in the car.
What I can’t tell you however is: if it’ll ever come out in the States, how much it’ll cost, when it comes out, etc. I can’t show you a product website, only the Japanese JVC site, which, while very pretty, is really very useless.
So there you have it. It’s like mystery meat: the KV-DV50 from JVC.
It plays DivX in your car.
