If you don’t mind having a bit of fun, these Knock-Off Lamps could make a great addition to your home, office or cubicle. Created by Josh Owen, the lamps are designed to look like regulation 15 inch bowling pins except that they’re made of plastic, and when standing are illuminated from the inside providing a soft glow.
And as you’ve probably guessed, the only way to turn off the lamps (besides unplugging them) is to simply knock them over. Now I don’t recommend keeping a bowling ball on hand to do this, but a soft Nerf ball thrown from across the room would probably do the trick.
