This article, from Israel’s Yediot Acharonot newspaper, is titled “‘A Vacuum Cleaner Captured a Snake.” It looks like “captured” is a bit of an understatement… The Roomba 560 appears to have totally pwned what we’re told is a deadly viper threatening some kids (and possibly a cat) by sucking it up around one of its rotating brushes…
Poor viper, probably minding it's own business then suck it's wound on a rotating brush of a roomba.
I didn't think Roomba had enough power to suck up a snake. My guess would be the snake was looking for a cosy place to sleep, and found the brush inside Roomba most inviting. Disaster inevitably stuck once the Roomba turned on, of course, and the snake couldn't escape in time.
So now they will list this as an added benefit of owning a roomba. Mine sits in the corner seldom doing anything. Anybody want to buy it?
