I’ve been to Dubai. Three times. There aren’t enough words to describe the beauty and opulence of this city. Nor do I feel it is my place to prophesize it’s obvious future as The Middle East’s Manhattan. I can however tell you that it’s home to the world’s tallest and only 7-star Hotel, the Burj-Al Arab. And that this hotel has a wicked heliport. And that just a few weeks ago, a tennis court was actually laid there, specifically for champions Andre Agassi and Roger Federer. And that they played tennis there, 700ft above ground.
What would have happened had any of them plunged to catch a ball… is anyone’s guess.
