George Lucas Frozen In Carbonite (Images courtesy Bonnie Burton)
By Andrew Liszewski

While I would definitely be impressed if George Lucas went as far as to have himself digitally inserted into a future version of the original Star Wars trilogy to replace Harrison Ford as Han Solo, this one-of-a-kind sculpture of him frozen in carbonite was actually created for the Star Wars Celebration in Japan this year. (As far as I know it was, please feel free to correct me in the comments.) The photos were snapped by Bonnie Burton who writes for the Official Star Wars.com Blog, and you can see a larger collection of her Star Wars Celebration photos on her Flickr page.
