George Lucas In Carbonite

While I would definitely be impressed if George Lucas went as far as to have himself digitally inserted into a future version of the original Star Wars trilogy to replace Harrison Ford as Han Solo, this one-of-a-kind sculpture of him frozen in carbonite was actually created for the Star Wars Celebration in Japan this year. (As far as I know it was, please feel free to correct me in the comments.) The photos were snapped by Bonnie Burton who writes for the Official Star Blog, and you can see a larger collection of her Star Wars Celebration photos on her Flickr page.
