There are many ways to enhance the finish of a paint, from including metal flakes for that metallic look, to pearl powder for the pearly look, natch. But it’s not everyday that you hear about diamonds being included into the mix. Gemballa, a German aftermarket Porsche tuner has recently announced that they’ve done just that. They ground up diamonds to the right size so that the resulting mixture could still be applied like regular paint. The result looks a lot like glitter paint, to be honest, although that glitter is now diamonds.
There’s of course no mention of price, although we expect rappers worldwide to start lining up at the company’s headquarters anytime now.
