Fish In Space Betta Aquarium (Image courtesy Wrapables)

If you’re going to insist on making a goldfish live in a small bowl so it can swim around for your entertainment, at least give it some level of dignity. And by dignity I mean the exact opposite of what this Fish In Space Betta Aquarium promises.

Our Fish In Space Betta Aquarium allows your fish to live amongst the stars and planets. The aquarium features a fun U.F.O. cap that beams the space ship’s light into the aquarium. The glow-in-the-dark stars and planets make for an exciting display during “lights out”.

And if I were a fish stuck in this thing, I would be particularly happy to learn it was actually powered by 2 button cell batteries, instead of something more reliable like oh, I don’t know… AC power?

It’s available from Wrapables for $21.95. Depressed goldfish not included.

  1. Half a gallon… Sick. Cruel. (And a couple of other adjectives that I can’t post because you’d delete this comment.) People who buy this crap should not be allowed to handle animals.

  2. I've seen some crazy fish tanks in my life…and this is one of them. I just can't see why you would want your fish to swim amongst UFO's but then again a 5 year old might just love the idea. As long as the fish gets treated well, go for it. It does look awfully small though?

    Deon.

  4. iv raised lots of beta’s this is a practical space no pun intended for one fish and betas dont like others in there home they dont play well with others and even thew some will tolerate a snail or frog not all will best to keep them to the self unless u want to give them a harem and bread them then theyer needs become greater and yes this would make a great first time pet for a responsible child or ufo fan
