If you’re the kind of person who’s going to snack on protein bars between meals, you might be getting sick of the tasteless sludge that most of them are made from. Usually containing a mix of whey powder alongside other stabilizers meant to camouflage their questionable taste, modern bars have hardly any recognizable ingredients in them. But Epic bars are different. Made from 100% grass fed animals, they simply trade whey proteins for actual meat fibers, alongside a few other natural ingredients. They are low sugar, gluten-free, and Paleo-friendly snacks with flavours like “Bison Bacon Cranberry, Turkey Almond Cranberry, Beef Habanero Cherry, and Lamb Currant Mint.” We’re not sure whether they taste good, but we like to imagine them as “jerky mixed with stuff”, and frankly that sounds appealing. It’s $21 for a pack of 6.
