Architect Gary Chang lives in a rather small apartment in Hong Kong, 330 square feet to be exact, but has definitely made the most of his situation. Using a cleverly designed series of sliding walls, his apartment can be transformed into a variety of different living areas from a kitchen, to a bathroom, to even a home theater complete with a video projector and large screen. Mirrors on the ceiling help to camouflage the tracks used by the sliding sections, but also serve to spread the ambient light coming in through the windows, which are actually tinted warm and golden so that every day feels like it’s sunny outside.
