I like the flavor that hot sauces add to certain foods, but I’ll admit I’m not the bravest of souls when it comes to the heat factor. For those in the same situation this new Adjustable Heat Sauce from Dave’s Gourmet puts us in the control of how hot things get.
Well known in the hot sauce world for their extreme ‘Insanity Sauces’ Dave’s Gourmet will soon be offering a new version that will appeal to everyone at the table, no matter what their scoville tolerance may be. The secret lies in the special 7.1 ounce container that actually contains two seperated compartments. One side holds ‘hot’ sauce while the other holds a ‘not so hot’ sauce. On top is a pump spray that mixes the sauce from the two compartments in varying proportions. Simply twist the nozzle to dial in a hotter or milder mix.
Pricing and availability on the Dave’s Gourmet Adjustable Heat Sauce has yet to be announced.
