If you’ve never heard of Woot.com, they’re an internet retailer that sells one single gadgety item every day at a huge discount and $5 flat shipping. Normally, they only sell one item per 24 hour period, but occasionally, they throw a Woot-Off party where each item is immediately replaced by a new item as soon as it sells out. Nobody knows what’s up next and there’s a live stock countdown, so it’s a pretty wild ride that can go on for hours or days. For those too lazy to hit the refresh button, there are a bunch of web pages that’ll do it for ya.
