I’ve never really had a desire to have a carabiner on my person at any time. I’ve never really gone climbing anything sheer enough to require rope and special gear. Many people use these to keep keys and such organized, which seems useful enough. Here’s a gadget that actually integrates a flash drive into a carabiner.

I’m not sure how useful this would be. Since most people keep other things like keys on their carabiner, I really wouldn’t think plugging it into a USB port would be a very good idea. With one end weighed down, you could easily damage the drive or port. Still, if you just think its cool, you can pick up a 4GB drive for around $32.
