Bumprz

If you’re a fan of minimalist phone cases, then you’ll love Bumprz for sure. It’s not a case in the traditional sense because it’s actually comprised of four steel bumpers that are meant to be attached on all four corners of your phone. The coolest part? It seems to work better than other cases that cover the entire back of your device.

So how does Bumprz work? It emphasizes protecting the corners of your phone, which sustains the most damage when it’s dropped. In effect, it also prevents the seam of the screen from hitting corners. Bumprz is constructed from a strong metal and attaches to your phone using a 3M adhesive which directs “the forces from the impact to the face and side of the device where the device can handle the high compressive and shear forces without failing.”

Bumprz is available in black, steel or gold, and the latter two can be either matte or polished. It’s currently up for funding on Kickstarter, where a minimum pledge of $20 will get you one of your very own.

  1. I put them on my iPhone and they turned black within 2 hours. I don’t know about the rest, but the brass ones aren’t worth the money. I already removed them.
