Big_Bloom_Vase

This has been around since 2009, but we just stumbled on it today. Talk about cutting edge! Anyway, the Big Bloom Vase is a creation of Charlie Guda and his work (though we’re not sure if that includes this vase) was featured at the Museum Of Modern Art as part of the exhibition called Design and the Elastic Mind. The Big Bloom Vase features a Fresnel lens placed in front of a test tube, both of which are connected by a rod. This allows you to magnify the appearance of the flower placed in the test tube, and simultaneously amplify the amount of love it is meant to represent. Because everyone knows bigger is better and only the biggest flowers represent true love. Or something. Right?

Yeah. I failed art class.

But you can own this for $40.
