The above chandelier is a “light sculpture” by designers Thyra Hilden and Pio Diaz, from the design firm HildenDiaz. When the light is switched on, it casts creepy, yet awesome shadows of vines or a forest all over your walls. It’s called Forms in Nature, and was “partly inspired by Ernst Haeckel’s (1834-1919) detailed plots from nature.” And although it currently only exists as a one-off unit, there are rumours that the pair is looking into launching a Kickstarter campaign after viral interest generated a large demand for the product. Until they do, however, we don’t know how much it could possibly cost or even when it might ever be available for purchase.
