  1. I’d be interested to know what home “devices” specifically Zenbo is able to control. I’ve been waiting for an all in one solution that interfaces with all my devices. When it says it controls your thermostat is that for a Honeywell, Ecobee, Nest or all of them? When they they say it controls lights is that Hue, WeMo, GE bulbs, Lifx etc or all of them? When they say it controls TVs does it control an AV center or does it just use an IR sensor to only turn off the TV and not the amp and satellite receiver etc? There are a lot of questions but the website is geared more to marketing than specifications so I can’t tell what it is actually capable of. Between Siri, Wink, SmartThings, SimpleControl and my Amazon Echo I can control most everything we use in our house and not have to go into individual apps to control individual things. But still waiting for the day that everything is controllable from one device.

  2. It’s the wild west right now in the world of smart things. Eventually things will consolidate and start working together without much thought. Remember a few years back when every cell phone company had its own charger receptacle?

  3. Hopefully soon. Wink comes close to controlling most things but is not quite there yet (about 70% of my devices). I have a feeling though that by the time everything is under one protocol (instead of ZigBee, z-wave, wireless a/b/g/n/ac, bluetooth etc) all my stuff will not be upgradable so I will have to buy all new of everything!
