Let’s say you’re going through a funk. You’re blue and everything sucks. But you’re one tough guy, and you know that given time, you’ll pull through. You’ll get your life together again. And one day, you’ll look back on these days, and laugh.

Well, if you want to make the experience even more poignant, Forbes(?) might have a fun little tool for you to use. Simply visit that page, and write yourself a message. Then, enter your email address and tell it how long you want to wait for it to send it to you. Then, 1, 3, 5, 10 or 20 years later, you’ll get a message you completely forgot you’d sent.

Something like “Hey, dude… remember the time you thought you were so depressed, eating boiled carrots seemed appetizing?….”

So, again, that link is here. Story VIA BoingBoing.
