I really think the title I’ve chosen is a far better product description than just ‘Shocking Alarm Clock.’ People will be more inclined to buy and play this practical joke on a friend or loved one if they know there’s a chance of causing serious health complications or even seizures.
But on the other hand when used as an actual alarm by someone in good physical standing this would probably be pretty effective. In addition to the annoying clang of the metal bell this retro looking alarm clock will also serve up a mild electric shock when you try to turn it off. The downside though is that you’ll probably develop a subconscious twitch whenever you hear an alarm clock go off somewhere else, but that’s a small price to pay for getting to work on time.
