Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you all know why anonymous comments have been temporarily disabled. As you might have noticed from this post, OhGizmo! and BotJunkie were both setting off antivirus alarms over the weekend. We’re not sure what caused the problem and are still investigating. We were able to resolve the issue by rolling back to an earlier snapshot of the site, but short of knowing what went wrong, we’re not taking any chances and are shutting down anonymous comments. Better to be safe.
We’re hoping to open’em up again soon. Until then, our apologies for taking away your God given right to have opinions and tell’em to the entire OhGizmo! readership.
