We’re going to have to start the day by apologizing for the lateness of the updates. Miscommunication, etc. You don’t care, but there you have it.
Anyway, here we have a funky Korean mouse from A4Tech that performs a little bit of electromagnetic magic by not needing a battery. At all. Instead, it’s kept alive through a special USB mouse pad and the wonders of electromagnetic induction. It’s optical, and has a resolution of 800dpi. Aside from that… it’s pretty much just a mouse. You’ll just never need to change the batteries, which is kind of nice.
Given that it does something fairly useful, we’re surprised to hear of the price: 20,000 Korean Won, about $21. Of course, it’s likely to be available in Korea only.
Why wouldn’t you just use a pen tablet?
Because pen tablets cost considerably more than $21 and are not optical. Pen tablet mice also tend to be tricky to use.
