I remember in my high school chemistry class whenever an experiment required an exact amount of time the teacher would break out the stopwatches which would inevitably lead to an unofficial game of who could start and stop them the fastest. The 5 Second Stadium Stopwatch game is kind of a similar idea, but instead of seeing who’s the fastest on the button, it challenges you to stop the clock exactly at the 5 second mark. You simply push the button to start the timer and then when you think 5 seconds has elapsed, you push it again to see what your time really was. By yourself I can’t imagine the game being all that fun, but with a group of friends who have no nothing better to do it could provide a few seconds (at least 5) worth of entertainment.

The stopwatch actually has 4 different game modes, including a 10-Second Chicken Race to see who can get as close to the 10 second mark without going over, and a practice mode that actually lets you see the clock running. It’s available from the Japan Trend Shop in 4 different color schemes for $29.
