Ok, let’s get something straight here. The video you see above is supposedly the first beta footage of the 3G4 app which is purportedly the first N64 emulator for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It could very well be nothing more than a cleverly compiled video playing back, but the prospect of maybe being able to play Goldeneye on my iPhone one day is more than enough to make me want to believe it’s real. And if it is real, it will be all the more impressive since it’s claimed that 3G4 was actually developed by a 14 year old programmer.

  1. I don't know, I don't think I'd like the controllers. I mean I can still walk into my bed room and fire up my 64, so no need for me. But for die-hard fans that want it on the go like most people today, I can see the reason for excitement.

  2. Cool, I just hope Mr. (Ms.?) 14-year-old doesn't have to meet Mr. (Mrs., Ms.?) 14-million dollar lawsuit by Big N before the source code gets leaked to world where it can be refined and proliferated onto the masses.

The only other option would be Apple and Nintendo giving this kid the shaft, developing thier own emulation, and sell us back the games we already bought.
