DOGTV: Now Dogs Can Watch TV While Their Owners are At Work

DogT

Don’t leave your dog with nothing to do when you’re off at work or running some errands. Flip over to the DOGTV channel instead, and let them watch some dog-themed shows on the tube while they wait for your return. “What’s DOGTV?”, you might ask. Well, it’s a television channel that features programming that’s “scientifically programmed” for your dog.

DOGTV’s 24/7 programing helps stimulate, entertain, relax and habituate dogs with shows that expose them to various movements, sounds, objects, experiences and behavior patterns, all from a dog’s point of view.

While not taking any official position, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) said any relaxation and stimulation for pets is good. But it doubted that all dogs will take to it.

Death By Random: Game of Thrones Death Generator

GOT Death Generator

Game of Thrones is all about the action. Epic battle scenes rage every few episodes or so, with the victorious relishing the death of their adversaries in the aftermath. GOT isn’t shy when it comes to the gore or particularly violent death scenes. That said, it’s pretty apt to have a death generator based on the show, don’t you think?

Created by Vulture, the Game of Thrones Death Generator will send you to a grisly and gory death, depending on the luck of the click. Will you die by rat torture or get stabbed in the eye? Check out the generator to find out how you’ll meet your end (but beware of death-related spoilers on the generator!)

LG Finds A Way To Clear Out Their Stock Of Old CRT Components – A Designer Retro TV!

By Andrew Liszewski

Hey LG Korea. You might fool the hipsters, but you’re not fooling me. I know that ‘retro’ is just another term for ‘horribly outdated’ so I’m not going to run out and buy this Retro TV you’re hawking. It’s a clever move though. Finding a way to empty your warehouses of antiquated CRT components without resorting to dumping them in a nearby river. And you’ll probably sell quite a few of these too, with their matching old-timey tuner knobs, rabbit ear antennas and settings for full-color, black and white and even sepia effects. But I’ve already claimed the space freed up by switching to LCD TVs and monitors, and I’m not giving it back!

I’ve no idea how much they’re asking for them, but given they’ve only got a 14-inch display I’m assuming not much. And while they’re digital ready, since they’re listed on the LG Korea website they may not actually work here in North America.
